Traffic Control

GP TC - The unit for traffic control on internal routes

You have certainly sometime got to a situation when you were driving with your car into or out of a garage, a courtyard, etc. by a narrow drive that only enabled one car to go through. Only when you drove in, another car appeared in the opposite direction. What`s to be done? Usually one of the cars has to back out of the drive and give way to the car going in the opposite direction. In the worst case, there could be more cars in both directions waiting to pass through.
In most of these cases, traffic lights are used to control the traffic on these routes. The traffic lights usually operate on the basis of a time relay. However, these solutions often tend to be highly ineffective as they cannot ensure an adequate response to the traffic requirements. Primarily, they are significantly unreliable. Why? Have a look at the wiring of a switchboard! You will clearly see that this tangle of wires, this "hornet`s nest" cannot work for long, let alone reliably.
Because of the above reasons, the GREEN Center s.r.o. company has developed a universal microcomputer programmable control unit designed for the control of traffic on internal routes: GP TC.

Description and usage:

GP TC - is a universal microcomputer programmable unit that due to its configuration is suitable for different types of use concerning the traffic control on internal routes.
The unit has 10 input signals (e.g. the detectors of vehicles, the switch of the day/night modes, the request for entry given from the remote control, the "permanently open" mode, etc.) and 10 output signals (the control of traffic lights, gateways, road gates, lift decks, etc.)
The communication with the computer is ensured by the RS 232 implemented port through which the control unit parameters can be set. The GP TC unit is normally totally independent, i.e. no connection to the PC is required.

The use of GP TC extended by the depiction of the occupancy of zones in parking garages on the LED display.

The induction loops are placed in the roadways of garages.

The passage of vehicles is controlled by a two-chamber traffic light with the light diameters of 120 or 210 mm.
