ASBK - Independent Scanner of Contactless Cards
ASBK - an independent scanner of contactless cards is a device for monitoring the access to specified areas. For this device to function, a direct connection to the PC is not required and therefore it is ideal for distant installations that have a fixed database of users.
After the connection of the supply voltage has been made and the relay output contact has been connected to an electric lock and after the cards data have been entered into the scanner, the device is ready to work. High capacity of the entered cards allows wide use of the scanner for the control of entrance mechanisms: doors, garage gateways or road gates. Further, it can be used for getting access to flats, offices, workshops, buildings, garages, warehouses, etc. The ASBK system registers and stores events - the passage of vehicles - for later examinations.

What is required to load (block) cards in the reader?

1. PC 486 or higher with installed operating system MS DOS, Win95, WIN98, or Win 2000 or XP not included.
2. Green Jack Programmer - GJP a simple programmer connected to the serial port of the PC. GJP is supplied as an optional item and includes a simple utility and card database.
3. Jack Prog - JP - a connector of Jack 3.5 type with an internal programmable memory, used to transmit valid approved cards between the PC and the ASBK.
For applications with a greater number of cards and multiple readers, part of the package is a reader with a built-in programmer and software - SBK 232 GJP + SW which allows direct loading of cards into the PC system. Data transmission is identical as when working with the GJP.



For smaller number of cards and simple applications not requiring frequent changes, programming will be done by the supplier.

For special applications requiring higher degree of security, card readers with separate antenna can be supplied. Antennas are installed in the exterior zone, e.g. under plaster, the card reader itself with a power supply in the interior zone.
