Scanners connected to the network:
The scanners connected to the electric network provide for the in-line connection to the control data server. They communicate through RS 422, the GP Comm communication software. They facilitate the use of the anit-passback function, the access blocking in the real time, the instant blocking or accepting of cards and other access functions. The passages can be used to obtain statistical data.

Independent scanners:
Independent scanners are very advantageous as far as distant installations at relocated workplaces are concerned. There are no further lead-in cabels necessary except of the power supply cabels. The database is installed to a distant server and the data on permited or denied cards are transmitted through the JP (JackProg) module.
