Access System
GPA - GreenPro Access - An Access Control System
This access control system is designed to record the entrance of people into monitored areas. These areas can be buildings, closed sections of buildings, warehouses, offices, parking lots and other premises. Zones of persons with right of access are included in the monitored area. The zones can be nested.

Software - GPA:
The access to the Sybase SQL database is through the GPA application programme. All data operations can be done within the GPA programme, e.g. accepting and blocking the access cards that allow the access to the premises or zone, processing the statistical data concerning the presence of persons, right of access, etc.
Hardware - GPA:
The data server (GPD, or possibly a PC) is connected to the network of SBK CPU control communication modules through the RS422 interface. The SBK CPU modules with 16 bit Toshiba microcomputer provide the system with a sufficient data processing speed as well as with the necessary capacity of the computer memory for the processing of a higher number of cards. The SBK scanner of contactless cards is connected to the communication module through the RS232 interface.
The SBK CPU module is placed in the monitored area after the card has been scanned and receives a requirement from the scanner to provide access to the monitored zone. If the scanned card is valid, the microcomputer passes the instruction to allow access. This instruction is lead from SBK CPU to the electric lock, i.e. from the monitored area. This guarantees the security of the area.
The SBK scanner is the only part of the device that is not placed in the secured area. However, with regard to the applied way of communication through the RS232 interface, this device cannot be used to control the electric lock directly (e.g. by ripping away the scanner and simply connecting several wires).
