Introduction of the GREEN Center s.r.o. company
Let us briefly introduce our company. The GREEN Center s.r.o. company, established in the year 1992, has always been operating in the area of computer technology applications. Since the beginning, the company has focused on the supply of computer applications including the installations of computer networks, particularly on car parking systems.
During the 15 years of its existence, the GREEN CENTER company has been increasing its revenues every year and has undergone certain development. Originally, the main business activity of the company was purely trading. Gradually, this has evolved into computer assembly activities. Nowadays, in addition to the trade, assembly and maintenance activities, the company has its own development base. This development base operates in the area of both software and microcomputer hardware production plus subsequent production of components designed for access systems and parking systems. The production is part of the main activity of the company and represents almost 80% of the company`s turnover. Currently, GREEN Center has 30 full-time employees and co-operates with several external providers. The principle objective of all employees is to provide our clients with full service that includes the preparation of the project, the preparation of the project for the construction, if required, the supply and assembly of the device and the provision of maintenance.
The GREEN Center company has been dealing with the parking systems already since the commencement of the company`s activities in the year 1992. However, the first experience with these systems goes back to the year 1988. Based on the experience obtained in the area of maintenance activities concerning a foreign producer parking system and with regard to the need of a quality, serviceable and affordable parking system, the company started its own development of a parking system, the GPP - Compact system (GPP - GreenPro Park), in the year 1995. Gradually, the individual components from other suppliers have been replaced (e.g. automatic barriers) and, since the year 1999, the company has been supplying a complete product line of its own development and production. Since the year 2001, the production has been centralized in the GREEN Center assembly branch in Dvůr Králové.
The selected way to proceed, to establish the company`s own development and production, has proved to be correct as the GREEN Center company now occupies a leading position in the supplies of parking systems and controls more than 50% of the Czech Republic market. In the capital of Prague, the share on the parking systems market has been even higher.
During the last seven years, the company has succeeded in penetrating also foreign markets where it has installed more than 75 systems, particularly in Slovenia and Poland. Two subsidiaries were established: GREEN Center Polska in Poland in the year 2003 and GREEN Center SI in Slovenia in the year 2007. Beside the above mentioned countries, we have been co-operating with distributors in other areas as e.g. Slovakia, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Belarus, Mexico, Costa Rica, the United Arab Emirates. In co-operation with foreign partners, the company places a great emphasis on their expertise, on their quality technical background, seriousness and their active approach within the business policy.
In the year 2007, the company met all conditions and acquired the certification according to the ISO 9001:2001 standard. This has created space for further enhancement of the quality of our development and production base as well as for the extension of the foreign partners network, etc.
In the year 2008, already for the fourth time, the company is taking part in the Intertraffic Amsterdam 2008 Exhibition. Further innovations of the GreenPro parking systems GPP Compact and GPP Variant will again be introduced there.
